A Clean India
A weekend,
The central hub of a city:
Scene Description:
A market place is completely crowded on a Sunday with different people visiting it to buy several products of their own respective choices. A boy has come with his father to the market to buy some household items.
Even though the market has one huge garbage bin, the boy sees everyone
throwing trash outside it or just on the paths they walk in. He sees people
spitting on the ground, throwing unextinguished cigarette butts recklessly and
just disposing away bags of even some incomplete food items. He feels disgusted
by seeing all this.
After his father had finished buying whatever he had in mind, he bought a packet of popcorn each for his son and himself. The son saw in distaste as his father spilled some popcorn on the way too. Then after both of them had finished eating, they went to the garbage bin to throw away the packets. The father carelessly threw it, not bothering when he saw that the packet had not fell into the bin, but beside it.
He then asked his son to come along so that they could return to home. But the son looked up at his father and replied, “Wait Papa. I have some work to complete.”
The father was then taken aback as he saw his son retreat their steps and pick up each piece of stray flake of popcorn that the former had dropped. Then the son came near the garbage bin, picked up his father's emptied packet as well and threw all of them together properly into the bin. As the father continued to gape at his son, the latter said after dusting his hands on the sides of his trousers. “Come papa. Now let us go. My job is complete.”
Note: Only dirty
people with dirty minds dirty their surroundings. CLEAN people
keep their surroundings CLEAN. Be a CLEAN person, with a CLEAN
mind and live a CLEAN life in a CLEAN world.
